The Backcountry Hut Company started in 2015 as an idea for a simple, recreational structure that could be easily installed in a remote location — something that most backcountry enthusiasts romanticize over. After working with the outdoor community in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, founder Wilson Edgar was inspired to collaborate with Michael Leckie, Principal Architect of Leckie Studio.

Christopher DeBoer of Sybrandt Creative, an interior design firm that specializes in residential renovations and designs tailored to the clients needs by focussing on functional and beautifully detailed spaces. Layering patterns and textures with a mix of custom and found vintage objects, and pulling from a global design perspective, each space reflects the client's own personality.

U31 is a multi-disciplinary design firm based out of Toronto that specializes in hospitality and condominium developments, as well as, private residential homes. Lead by Creative Principals Kelly Cray, Neil Jonsohn and Alex Chapman, as well as, Financial Principal Nancy Dyson UNION31 has established a solid reputation for design excellence throughout North America and the Caribbean.

Voted Best Emerging Designer by Canada’s Design Exchange and Best Emerging Practice by the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), PARTISANS is an intrepid Toronto-based studio poised to change the architecture and design landscape. Recent works from the firm have been featured in the New York Times, Wallpaper, Dezeen, Frame, Fast Company, and designboom and won Canadian Interiors' Best of Canada Award.

The Design Agency is an award-winning Toronto based design consultancy. Managed by partners and long-time friends Allen Chan, Matt Davis and Anwar Mekhayech, the studio unites architectural, interior design, industrial design, branding and digital design expertise.

II BY IV DESIGN, founded by Dan Menchions and Keith Keith Rushbrook is based in Toronto with a second Office in New York. The internationally recognized firm has built a reputation for creativity that is matched by some of the best working drawing in the business. After receiving over 250 awards, the team continues to travel the globe in search of inspiration and to keep in touch with emerging trends and technologies.

Cecconi Simone Inc. is a multi-disciplinary interior design practice based in Toronto, privately owned and operated by Elaine Cecconi and Anna Simone. Established in 1982, Cecconi Simone has produced award-winning designs in the retail, corporate, hotel-hospitality and residential sectors in Canada, the United States and overseas in Anguilla, British West Indies, Italy, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; India and China.

After working with AyA on her hit show Divine Design, top designer Candice Olson again collaborated with AyA Kitchens for her new show Candice Tells All. The kitchen in the image are from a loft project with a small footprint but high ceilings. Candice works her magic creating a functional space with warm sleek horizontal lines of the Cirrus Cocoa Zebrano slab door paired with our Zenith Mirado aluminum framed doors for high contrast and drama.

Mike Niven Interior Design in conjunction with Fram Developments have turned this ex office building into urban chic condo suites, taking advantage of the existing structure's beauty with ten foot ceilings and exposed ductwork. The kitchens are finished with AyA cabinetry using contrasting Black and Ivory High Gloss laminate doors. Open display cabinets flanking the hood add to the minimalist appeal of this kitchen.

A beautiful kitchen in neutral tones shows off the versatile of clean, simple design lines. Crystal's vision for this family kitchen was to accommodate the household's busy schedule and needs by creating more space and knocking down the family room wall to merge the two spaces together. This move not only created more space but also brought back functionality.

Challenging designers to create bold, unique and innovative design is what the biggest design show in the country is all about. AyA in collaboration with design firm Tomas Pearce created for the Interior Design Show 2012. Inspired by the challenges of condo living by maximizing minimal space the show booth featured sleek, Chelsea Black High Gloss slab pocket doors that tucked away when the kitchen is in use, or that can be pulled out to conceal the cabinetry and appliances.

Sleek, modern, yet classic - an unlikely combination comes to IDSWEST in AyA's collaboration with Kelly Deck Design. The Lauch of AyA's Moss colour was very well received at Vancouver's 2012 IDSwest display; a definite hit among kitchen consumers as well as the design community. Featuring the clean lines of our Manhattan door in our Moss finish, this stunning display showcases modern features combined with classic simplicity.

BYU Design was founded in 2003 by its principals, Cheryl Broadhead and Ada Bonini. Since inception, their energy and fresh approach to interior design has created successful results for a wide variety of projects both locally and internationally. BYU's reputation is built on a solid portfolio of multi-unit residential projects ranging in scale from condo conversions, townhouses and low-rise construction, to multi-tower high-rise projects.
